The RESPECT Model

As previously discussed, SuperTeams require employees who are highly engaged with both their work and coworkers, and that happens only in an environment of mutual respect. Teams are composed of a network of relationships; when disrespect is present in any of those relationships, the functioning of the team suffers. The extent to which team members experience respect is determined largely by the seven key drivers of the RESPECT Model. This acronym and its meaning are the same as were presented in Paul’s book Carrots and Sticks Don’t Work:
