People throughout your company need to support the supply chain strategy. From the senior executive level to middle management—and even to the front lines—everyone needs to understand and work toward the common goals your team has laid out and the capabilities and methods you will pursue. A firm’s supply chain process is the ultimate cross-functional entity. Without explicit buy-in from the people who affect it, and are affected by it, the entire strategy creation process becomes just another example of a lot of effort delivering no results.
