Foreword

We think our business challenges are new. They are not. Scott shows how mankind and creatures of earth have adapted to challenges like we face over the years. Challenges that at their core are the same, but disguised as new because there are so darned many variables.

He argues, I think successfully for a way of thinking. Understand the past. Focus on the future. Accept the fact that things will change, and today’s solutions will be different than yesterday’s. If you accept that, you can take the next steps. You can create desire to change because it insures the future. And you can get folks to throw away all the pride that binds you to status quo.
