6.1 Elements of Strategic Control

Control may be conditionally considered as the last step in the process of sustainable energy management. Its essence is to compare the achieved with the planned, identify possible deviations, and undertake corrective activities. Control is hence only in theory perceived as the last strategic step, while, essentially speaking, it represents a starting point for making necessary corrections to the energy management process, planning it again, and performing it with no interruptions and with constant improvements.
