Abstract
The rapid advancement in wearable electronics has emerged the development of wearable supercapacitors with remarkable features of miniaturization, flexibility, and easy integration. Substantial efforts have been devoted to different challenges associated with wearable supercapacitors towards practical application. The present chapter is a brief the overview of working principle along with the preparation strategies of the materials. The current state of art pertinent to the challenges associated with the device is discussed with relevant examples. Additionally, the survey of wearable supercapacitors as a power source in integrated devices towards futuristic applications is also presented.
