Not to be left behind in the race to incorporate SVG into drawing packages, Corel included SVG export capability with CorelDRAW version 10. CorelDRAW 11 offers enhanced SVG support. You can import and export SVG files in CorelDRAW 11, and you can add reference information to your SVG files by using CorelDRAW's Object Data Manager, which will insert the information into the relevant SVG tags.
Unlike Illustrator, CorelDRAW doesn't embed a CorelDRAW file into the resulting SVG code when you export or save files as SVG. Let's take a look at how CorelDRAW opens and saves SVG files.
