Chapter 9Managing Replicated Tables and Stored Procedures

Replicating transactions using Replication Server includes installing one or more Replication Servers, adding routes, managing replication connections, and managing replicated tables. After making sure all the Replication Server components are properly set up, databases can be added to the replication system.

Managing replicated tables may include defining replication definitions, defining publications, defining function definitions, defining subscriptions, and materializing subscriptions. Subscription definitions and materialization methods are discussed in Chapter 10.
