Abstract

Machine learning relies on mathematics to solve real-life problems. But what if you switched the roles and relied on machine learning to solve or at least explore pure mathematical problems? This is the subject of experimental mathematics. Over the years, I made considerable progress tackling famous conjectures using this approach. In addition, I leveraged mathematical objects such as functions or numbers, to build infinite synthetic data sets with an infinite number of features, to test and benchmark new machine learning techniques, and to produce new types of animated data videos.
