Site Server Common Logs
All server log files are located in the <ConfigMgrInstallPath>\Logs folder on the server where the role is installed. Log files for particular components are listed in those respective sections. Some of these log files will not appear on a CAS as a CAS does not manage clients. The common server log files are as follows:
• Adctrl.log*: Records enrollment processing activity.
• Ccm.log: Logs information regarding client ConfigMgr tasks, which is responsible for client agent push operations.
• CertMgr.log*: Records the certificate activities for intrasite communications.
• chmgr.log*: Records activities of the client health manager.
• Cidm.log: Records changes to the client settings by the Client Install Data Manager (CIDM). ...
