Deploying Servers to Support Internet-Based Clients

Chapter 4 introduced Internet-based client management (IBCM), and it presented the supported features and required client-facing site system roles for IBCM. Internet-based clients require mutually authenticated HTTPS communication with all site systems except the fallback status point. ConfigMgr HTTPS communication requires a public key infrastructure (PKI). Chapter 4 also includes PKI planning considerations.
