Client Health

ConfigMgr 2007 Release 2 (R2) introduced an optional feature called Client Status Reporting (CSR). CSR provides current information on the status of client computers in a ConfigMgr hierarchy. The health of the client is essential because ConfigMgr can only manage healthy clients. There were some community-written scripts for ConfigMgr 2007 that admins could integrate in the startup or logon scripts of their clients; these performed checks and performed remediation actions when the ConfigMgr client was not healthy. ConfigMgr 2012 includes this functionality out-of-the-box using a new feature called Client Health.
