Configuring Compliance Settings
Unlike other major features of ConfigMgr, there are no server-side prerequisites (other than ConfigMgr itself) and there is no initial configuration for settings management: you simply enable it or disable it using granular client settings as discussed in Chapter 9, “Configuration Manager Client Management.” The client performs all processing and returns the results to the site server. This section discusses the quick setup of compliance settings and the rather straightforward configuration options available.
Here are the two client-side prerequisites for compliance settings:
• Clients must have the ConfigMgr 2012 Client agent installed.
