Other Detection Methods
In addition to the Windows Installer detection method, there are built-in methods based on file system and registry properties. This section walks through examples of each.
Here are the basic steps for adding a file-based detection method:
1. From the Deployment Type Properties dialog, select the Detection Method tab, and click Add Clause.
2. Choose the appropriate setting type. In this case, select File System, and click the Browse button.
