Installing Distribution Points
Chapter 6, “Installing System Center 2012 Configuration Manager,” discussed how to install and configure distribution points along with a primary or secondary site. This section describes the process of installing a DP on a remote server or workstation. DP role requirements are discussed in Chapter 6.
Follow these steps to create a DP:
1. In the console, navigate to Administration -> Overview -> Site Configuration and select Servers and Site Systems; then select Create Site System Server.
