Software Update Groups
Update groups are one key to the software update workflow simplification in System Center 2012 Configuration Manager. Update groups streamline the functionality of update lists and update deployments into a single object. If you aren’t familiar with these objects from ConfigMgr 2007, don’t worry; the only thing you are missing is the headache that these two separate object types caused.
