Enrolling Mobile Devices
After configuring your infrastructure, start enrolling mobile devices. You can do this over the air by providing the users with a link to your enrollment proxy point server. There are several ways to do this:
• Using https://<FQDN>/EnrollmentServer of your enrollment proxy internet address
• With the CNAME record previously discussed in the “Mobile Device Management Roles” section, using a link such as https://configmgrenroll.domain.topdomain/EnrollmentServer
The benefit of using a CNAME is you don’t need to update the link if you move the enrollment proxy server role. In addition, the enrollment process auto resolves to configmgrenroll your domain and top-level domain of your users’ UPN account domain. As a best practice, ...
