Driver Package Export and Import
The Driver Package Export and Import feature was available in ConfigMgr 2012 RTM for most other content types, including software packages, applications, and content referenced within a task sequence. Specifically, it enabled exporting the content to a folder and the metadata about the content into a ZIP file that you could import into an alternate hierarchy. Doing this is useful for organizations with a test or development hierarchy that have a content promotion process, for backup or archival purposes, or for content sharing between cooperative organizations. However, you could not do this for individual driver packages until ConfigMgr 2012 R2.
