Abstract

This chapter looks at two major systems engineering program/project management challenges, communication management and budgetary management, from a performance point of view. Communication management refers to the processes required to ensure timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, and arrangement of project information. Effective communication aids in setting objectives, specifying procedures, reporting performance, and coordinating activities.
