In this book we have touched on various topics, some quite complex, especially for those unfamiliar with the physical–mathematical world. We believe that we have satisfied your curiosity about neural networks and fulfilled the promise made in the first chapter of providing the foundations as well as many interesting examples on how and in which circumstances neural networks can have a positive impact on our lives and work. Therefore, we would like to end with some observations and suggestions aimed at teasing your intellect.
We presented some examples of Neural Networks applied to sports clubs that, due to their organizational nature especially, adopt standard processes often based on experience.
A complex system, operating in an environment, would struggle to adapt and observe events autonomously without helping from the human side. The decision-making phase, together with an optimization process, brings the system to a next state that may or not may depend on its initial state or on previous states. Therefore, in all conditions the system deals with all the uncertainties that are proper to the surrounding reality.
All the information, obtained from the environment and appropriately combined with each other, are used to build an autonomous and intelligent system. Consequently, this System (even more complex) can generate a ...
