We're using data from the city of Chicago to see how many potholes are identified and how many are fixed. Use Waterfall.tbwx and Potholes.csv to follow along:

  1. Create a line or bar chart with one dimension and one measure—Activity Date and Potholes—as follows:

  1. Apply a Running Total measure under Quick Table Calculation for Potholes, as shown in the following screenshot:

  1. Change the Marks type to Gantt Bar, as shown in the following screenshot:
