Function Reference
This appendix documents functions available in the Tableau calculated field language. Add these functions to a calculated field by double-clicking the desired function in the list on the lower right of the Calculated Field dialog box. The function list displays all available functions in alphabetical order, or a subset of related functions in alphabetical order if a category is chosen in the drop-down list above the function list. Most functions accept one or more arguments, or values that are supplied to the function inside parentheses and separated by commas.
