Introduction

This chapter will cover formatting in a Tableau dashboard. As the final element to designing a dashboard, formatting is imperative to make sure that a user can easily digest the information as it is clear and concise. From changing the size and shape of marks to highlighting key components in a chart, formatting can allow a user to quickly identify a crucial point in data for their analysis.

Correct formatting is a best practice in data analytics. This will create an easily digestible report and help drive decisions from data.
