Asynchronous Learning— Make It Interactive and Engaging

The design presented in chapter 4 assumed the training would be delivered entirely in a classroom format. The design presented in this chapter takes the opposite approach—no live training with an instructor during the learning process. However, the facilitators will check in with the new hires periodically to ensure they are progressing through the training and to answer any questions. This asynchronous approach will begin to illustrate the focus on achieving objectives rather than concentrating on the learning methodology.
