I presume that most people reading this book have already set up at least one email account on their iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, because that's often done during initial configuration. Because you're probably already actively using the Mail app, I don't want to make you read dozens of pages about email protocols, account setup, and so on before telling you about the nuts and bolts of sending, receiving, and managing email.
