Chapter 4. Listen to Audio

It's almost hard to believe now that the first iPod in 2001 did nothing but play digital music and other audio. On the iPad, "iPod" is an app, which you use primarily to play music, but also to listen to podcasts, audiobooks, and iTunes University courses. Unlike the iPod app found on the iPhone and iPod touch, the iPad version of the app focuses almost exclusively on audio (but some video content may show up there as well).

This section mostly covers audio in iTunes and the iPod app, but at the end it notes a few audio apps that Stream Audio (p. 62).
