A spectrum of nude and sexualized images exists on the internet from non-prurient—mostly from naturists and art photographers—to pornographic beyond the imaginations of most people. Until recently, there have been no effective tools that examine the content of an image to manage how someone interacts with it, whether they receive the image from a known or unknown party or intend to send one.
These images (and videos) include ones that are legal to possess in most countries and ones that are beyond the pale and subject to heavy criminal prosecution in most.
