Apple has three robust ways to secure a device: with a passcode, Touch ID for fingerprint recognition, and Face ID for facial recognition. Apple includes Touch ID or Face ID as part of all its current models of mobile hardware that can run iOS 15/iPadOS 15 or later. (The discontinued 7th-generation iPod touch was the only device without Touch ID that could run iOS 15.)
