Chapter . Store and Share Files with iDisk
iDisk is without a doubt one of the most useful—and most visible—features of .Mac. An iDisk is like an extra hard drive that provides 10 GB [1] of storage for your files (2.5 GB for Family Pack sub-account holders), but this virtual drive is actually located on Apple’s servers. You can use it to store anything you want, and you can access it from nearly any computer on the Internet. By putting items in your iDisk’s Public folder, you can also make those items available to others (with optional password protection).
