In the previous section, I described the process of creating Web sites using HomePage, iWeb, or your own software; these Web sites can, of course, include photos, movies, and other media. However, iPhoto and iMovie (plus Aperture 2, which is not part of iLife) also let you share their content directly on your .Mac Web site, without the need to explicitly create Web pages.
By sharing directly from these applications, you get access to the .Mac Web Gallery, an elegant way to display photos and videos online and even enable your friends to upload their own content; you also may save some time and effort that would otherwise be spent fiddling with Web page design.
