The other way to make your Intel Mac run Windows is to install virtualization software. You’ll get slightly slower performance and possibly lose access to some hardware devices that you can use in Boot Camp, but in exchange you get the convenience of running Windows and Mac OS X at the same time. Switching between them is as easy as switching applications, because that’s exactly what you’re doing!
