Chapter . Exploring the Toolbox

The Toolbox is a new window that appears when you click the Toolbox button on the Standard toolbar or when you choose View > Toolbox. It has four icon buttons at the top that switch between panes of the Toolbox window:

  • Scrapbook: An Office-wide repository for clippings, replacing the earlier Office Clipboard

  • Reference Tools: Brings together the dictionary and thesaurus with two new features that allow you to perform an online search of the Encarta Encyclopedia and MSN.com

  • Compatibility Report: A new feature giving you a sense of whether your document will work in other versions of Word

  • Projects: Provides access to the Project Center
