Safeguard Your Browsing

When I originally outlined this book, I imagined I would place this chapter near the end, where normally the “less fun” stuff goes. But in today’s world, you can’t truly enjoy browsing the web unless you safeguard your browsers. If you ignore doing so, you risk facing assorted miseries that range from frustration to anguish (in the case of identity theft, which depending on the severity, can take months or even years to resolve).
