Work with a Single Item

Looking at a huge catalog of items in Photos is great, but once you’ve found a specific image or video you want to interact with, you’ll want to zoom into the individual item view (Figure 15). To view an individual item, double-click it on a Mac or tap on it on an iPad or iPhone.

From the individual-item view you can drill down and get more information about your item, select text, and more. It’s also the gateway to editing items, which we’ll cover in the chapters Make Quick Fixes and Make More Complex Edits.
