Use Search to Find Items
I used to manually tag and keyword all my digital photos and curate photo albums for every major life event, but the number of shots I took kept accelerating, and at some point I just gave up. I’m not alone—but advanced computer vision technology has come to the rescue!
All the images in Photos libraries are scanned millions of times with machine-learning algorithms to identify thousands of different scenes or objects as well as unique faces (see Find People and Pets for more on face-detection). Photos even scans for more detailed features like animal breeds and art (see Identify Objects in Your Images for details), as well as text that appears in your items.
