Recently I was setting up some background apps on one of my Macs to run every time I restart the computer and to relaunch automatically if they crashed. I was struck with the realization that, in earlier editions of this book, I had never explained how to do things like that—for all the examples of automation I gave, nearly all of them assumed that automated tasks would be triggered manually.
