I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Use Omni Automation
Earlier in this book, I covered a number of apps with built-in automation tools, such as Microsoft Office and Nisus Writer Pro (see Automate Individual Apps). I also told you about systemwide platforms such as AppleScript (see Get Started with AppleScript) and JavaScript for Automation (see Using JavaScript for Automation), which can be used both for automating individual apps and for cross-application scripting.
Pro versions of apps made by the Omni Group can already be automated in any of these ways. Those include OmniFocus Pro (a task management app), OmniGraffle Pro (a graphing and charting app), OmniOutliner Pro (an outlining app), and OmniPlan Pro (a project management app).
