In previous years, I wrote an entire book on the process of upgrading to the latest Mac operating system. As I did with Big Sur, rather than offering a separate Take Control of Upgrading to Monterey book, I’ve condensed all my upgrading instructions into just this one (admittedly rather long) chapter. Although I’ve deliberately left out some details and background information from the book-length text, what follows should be more than enough to get you through the process.
