Control Your Notifications
Notifications have been redesigned in iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 with large icons on the left side of each notification, and with your contact’s photo or icon on Messages notifications.
Notifications don’t look very different on the iPad, but they’re significantly slimmer on the iPhone. Apple is also moving away from big modal notifications—expect to see more banner-style notifications at the top of the screen.
Outside that, you can now bundle notifications into summaries, and you can use the new Focus feature to block out certain notifications depending on what you’re doing.
