Use Maps and Directions

Instead of staring at your phone while you follow directions in the Maps app (which I can’t recommend, from a safety perspective), your Apple Watch can guide you from your wrist. Is that really better? Perhaps not, but it’s better to glance quickly at one prominent piece of information on your wrist than parse everything on your phone screen.

Find a Location Using Siri

Let’s start with a common task, searching for a place nearby:

  1. Raise your watch and say, “Hey Siri” or “Siri,” or press and hold the Digital Crown, and ask to find a location: a landmark or business, a contact, or a query like, “Where’s good coffee near here?”
