Meet Safari 17

Safari 17 ships with Sonoma, and is also available as an optional download for Ventura and Monterey. Version 17 looks and acts very much like version 16, but with a few interesting new features. You can now create profiles in Safari to separate your data into different sandboxes, turn any website into a standalone app, and use Private Browsing mode with even greater confidence.

Note: Apple’s Sonoma preview page also says, “Search in Safari is more responsive than ever and shows easier-to-read and more relevant suggestions.” I can’t say I’ve noticed these changes, but that may be a function of what I search for.
