Use Filters and Photographic Styles

Apple provides a scant nine filters, which apply visual effects to your photos such as Vivid Warm and Dramatic Cool. Fortunately, filters are not permanently applied to images; you can change them later in the Photos app.

Photographic Styles, on the other hand, are burned into the images, but they fulfill a different function. You can adjust the tone and warmth to your liking in one of the five provided styles if there’s a particular look you want all of your images to share.

Note: Photographic Styles are available on the iPhone 13 and later models, including the iPhone SE (3rd generation).
