Upgrade to iOS 18 or iPadOS 18
Before you proceed with the upgrade, you should know if your devices can support iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, what to do before you update, and, of course, how to perform the update.
Check Your iPhone for Compatibility
iOS 18 runs on any of these iPhone models:
iPhone 11 series or later
iPhone XS series
iPhone SE (2nd generation or later)
However, certain features require more than the bare minimum hardware:
Apple Intelligence: Apple’s new artificial intelligence features require an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or later.
