Around September of every year, Apple updates all their operating systems, and this year's releases are version 27. While retaining the basic look and feel of the version 26 systems, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 fix bugs, improve battery life, and introduce lots of small enhancements (along with a few major ones). This book tells you what's new in version 27 and helps you update your iPhone or iPad.
Among the major enhancements are the long-awaited Siri AI and expanded Apple Intelligence—which are also present in macOS 27 Golden Gate. Rather than add 100 pages to this book and another 100 nearly identical pages to Joe Kissell's Take Control of Golden Gate, we're doing something different.
