5. Talking to Your Day-Timer

For many people, iOS replaces handwritten organizers like the classic Day-Timer. You may be too young to be familiar with Day-Timers....They had printed pages with spaces for reminders, notes, and calendar appointments, as well as lists of contacts. They cost more than they were really worth and weighed more than an iPad—and we loved them. Ridiculously.

Instead of scrawling handwritten notes onto printed calendar pages, iOS and Siri set up appointments, take notes, and set reminders through simple conversations. This process feels more like having your own personal assistant taking care of business for you than using an electronic device.
