F Experiencing the islands of tea
The tea came to Europe either by sea (on ships or tea clippers) or by land (caravans). Some of the islands in Europe had and still have more favourable conditions also for tea production or were stops on the classic trade routes, so that an early and intensive tea culture developed. They have retained this tea-orientation in different forms to this day.
