Playing Music and Other Media

Besides the Music and Video Windows 8 apps, Windows 8 comes with two other media applications: Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center. Using Windows Media Player, you can listen to audio files and music CDs, watch video files, and even create your own music CDs. Using Windows Media Center, you can view pictures and videos on your TV, play DVD discs, and listen to audio files through your stereo.
