Read Digital Books with iBooks
To enjoy electronic books, or e-books, on your iPhone, download the free iBooks app from the App Store. Using iBooks, you can read e-books that you load on the iPhone from your computer, download free or paid-for e-books from online stores, or read PDF files you transfer from your computer.
If you have already loaded some e-books, you can read them as described in this task. If iBooks contains no books, see the next task, “Browse and Buy Digital Books with iBooks,” for instructions on finding and downloading e-books.
