Browse Your Photos Using Events, Faces, and Places

You can use the Photos app to browse the photos you have taken with your iPhone’s camera, photos you have synced using iTunes or via your Photo Stream on iCloud, and photos you receive in e-mail messages or download from web pages.

The most straightforward way to browse is by albums, but you can also browse by events, faces, and places. An event is a named collection of photos associated with a particular date or happening; a face is a person’s face you teach iPhoto to recognize; and a place is a geographical location.
