Set Up a Screen Saver

A screen saver is a slideshow-like sequence of images or a moving pattern that OS X displays to hide what your screen is showing when you leave your Mac mini idle. You can choose what screen saver to use and how soon to start it. If you prefer, you can use no screen saver at all.

OS X includes slideshow designs for creating custom screen savers using either built-in pictures or your own pictures. OS X also comes with a variety of attractive screen savers you can choose from. You can download other screen savers from websites.
