Rearrange the Icons on the Dock
The Dock is your control center for the applications you run, so you can save time by customizing the Dock to contain the icons you need. You can add applications, files, or folders to the Dock or remove most existing items.
The Dock is divided into two parts by a divider bar of dotted white lines. The left part of the Dock contains applications; the right part contains folders and files. You can put any applications, folders, and files on the Dock, but you must put applications on the left side and folders and files on the right side.
